This is just brilliant. I'm taking onboard everything you say, so will henceforth cease to bash my head against a very thick brick wall, something that won't just save me an inordinate amount of time and effort, but possible also save what is left of my sanity. Thank you.

Great work for the defence of Jewish people from Joshua Dabelstein. I admire it. To be honest, I don't think anybody has right to confront me if I am a Zionist. It is a power relationship standard in today's progressively stupid political discourse: no-one needs to defend themselves for being anti-Israel, but anyone who loves the idea of a tiny Jewish state, Israel, has to defend themselves not to be judged, ostracised, abused, excluded, etc. I didn't know anything about the history of Israel or Palestine until 7 October, and was not interested, but the awful hatred spilling in the direction of Israel and Israeli people and Jews turned my life into a new direction, and I started checking history and facts, not just accepting the stupid falsehood of anti Jewish libels.

Wise decision.

It’s like trying to force someone with an antisocial personality disorder to realize gentle is better than aggressive.

Time to defend against acts of antisemitism and leave the theory out.

When morons, and the world is full of them, some of them even likeable or entertaining, describe "Palestine" as being colonized, I ask from where? What nation colonized Palestine, and when. Was it Turkey during Ottoman Empire days of yore? Or was it Great Britain for a brief period when Turkey was defeated in WWI? If by Turkey, where are all the Turks in Palestine? If by Britain, where are all the Brits who colonized Palestine? If the response is "The Jews colonized Palestine," I ask when, and from where? You end up getting nonsense responses, which I find more entertaining than frustrating. Life is short, the world so full of morons, why not allow them to entertain us since there is no hope of convincing them of anything intelligent or reasonable. Whenever I fall into the trap of attempting to reason rather than toy with a moron, I end up feeling I've become a moron myself.

Antizionism is the luxury belief that you are fighting a white oppressor when in fact you are upholding 1400 years of Islamic hierarchy and targeting the people who have been one of its main victims.

Thanks Joshua. I listened and re-listened. You’re right. We need to find a new way forward.
